Unlike cladding around a window reveal, fitting an internal trim is one of the simplest tasks involved in cladding a bathroom. Not only will our team show you exactly what a trim looks like, but they will also show you step-by-step how to fit it; while offering helpful suggestions such as approximately how many screws will be needed and how to go about fitting the cladding within the trim.
Tools required
- Trim
- Tape measure
- Tin snips
- Drill
- Screws
Step 1: Measure your trim
Measure the length of your wall corner from floor to ceiling using a tape measure, and keep note of the figure.
Step 2: Cut your trim
On your trim, mark the length of the corner and cut the trim to size using tin snips or a mitre saw. Tin snips are a particularly convenient way of going about this, and take just a few moments to cut the trim to size.
Step 3: Install your trim
Once the trim has been cut, install this onto your corner using your drill and screws. You can then install your wall panels by slotting these into the trim itself.
